GCHQ
Carillion Planned Maintenance provides all required services to meet current legislation ACOP:L8 for the control of Legionella at the GCHQ sites throughout the UK.
The contract has a robust maintenance regime in place to support each site to check water quality and ensure the water is maintained within strict guidelines to control contamination. This covers both domestic water and cooling water systems associated with the cooling towers.
CPM supplies all required consumables to site including water treatment chemicals.
Regular microbiological sampling of relevant water systems are undertaken and processed on our behalf by a UKAS accredited laboratory. Additional support is also provided for water softening equipment, reverse osmosis systems and closed loop systems to ensure they are maintained correctly and providing necessary services.
