Single Living Accommodation Modernisation

Our contract with SLAM is for the maintenance of the first phase of a £1 billion contract, which comprises new build and refurbishment projects at MOD sites across the country.

The first phase of the SLAM project is to upgrade progressively forces’ accommodation to a Grade 1 condition over a five year period. This will include approximately 10,000 bed spaces for single rank servicemen and women across all three services.

Working in a supply chain partnership with Debut, Carillion Planned Maintenance is committed to providing both M&E and building maintenance services.

As a partner working on this completely transparent, open book Maximum Price Target Costs (MPTC) contract, where both supply chain partners share risks and rewards, we have been involved from the early stages of the project providing information and data on such topics as:

• Lifecycle costs
• Maintainability
• Spares holdings

The contract will be managed as a national contract from our Bristol office thereby providing Debut and the numerous property managers with a single point of contact.
